This is a catalog of mixed media works by artist Ray Beldner. With Counterfeit, Beldner selected key artwork by famous artists and remade them out of sewn US currency. By remaking “signature” artworks by 20th century masters, Beldner broadens the discourse about art in general to include discussion of its social, historic and aesthetic values.
