Small Unframed B&W Collages on Paper

These works are made by appropriating images of iconic sculptures by Henry Moore, Jean Arp, and Lynda Benglis, among others. Using fragments of their forms and outlines, I construct layered surfaces that feel at once familiar and unstable. The resulting compositions move between drawing and sculpture, presence and trace, inviting the viewer to navigate shifting relationships between positive and negative space, figuration and abstraction. My process is intuitive and explores how 2D forms can suggest movement, weight, and spatial tension without ever fully resolving into fixed objects.
